Recently, some customers of our company have various problems when using fx5u and mxcomponent to communicate. In order to solve the problems, we will take mxcomponent4.0 and fx5u as examples to explain the setting steps in detail. (see below)
First, set the IP address of PC and PLC in the same network segment, and use Ping test to ensure that the network cable connection is OK.
Ø start the communication settings application
1. After starting the communication settings application, click the wizard button.
Logical station number setting
1. The logical station number can be set arbitrarily. Click next after setting.
Communication PC side settings
1. Computer side I / F: Ethernet card
2. Connection Directory: fx5
3. Communication timeout: 6000ms by default
Communication PLC side setting
1. When PLC and PC are directly connected, select "Ethernet port direct connection"
2. When connecting through router or switch, select "search CPU in Ethernet" and enter plcip address.
